Hi
We are awaiting of our citizenship test, hoping to get one soon but our PR and passport is going to expire in about one month. Do we have to have a valid PR and passport if we're asked for ? We still have valid driver's license, care card, proof of landing papers as a form of identification. What if we required two forms of identification? Is it acceptable for documents verifier to submit expired identification documents? As in our case valid driver's license, care card, landing papers and expired passport or PR? Please let us have your thoughts. Thank you.

You don't need to provide a valid passport nor a PR card. Just make sure to bring all your expired passports and your COPR document.
All the other documents you mentioned can be used as extra piece of identification.

Thank you for your answer. How about in your case? By the way when I see your application status, you have already completed almost all steps. Where did you file your application? It is so fast moving as compare to Surrey, BC. I am still waiting to get our testing date. Thanks once again.

Hi, I have the same question. Is your passport expired when you show up to your citizenship test? If yes, What did they do?

So it looks like expired documents with driver's license, COPR and Care card will suffice, is that what you mean to say??
