Citizenship Test Location

Hi,

Just out of curiosity, where is the citizenship test taken? Is it in your hometown or the City with CIC Office?
For example, if I am living in Thunder Bay and there is no CIC office there so the test will be taken in Thunder Bay or at some other location nearby.

Also, is it the CIC office conducting the test or Service Canada or someone else conducts it?

1. IRCC has itinerant service so IRCC will hold the test in Thunder Bay. They are listed here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contact_us/offices/itinerant.asp
