Hello Forum,

I recieved my citizenship request today and unfortunately its on a day which I can't reschedule my work. But going late might be ok. I want to ask from people who have taken the test that how long does these appointment takesso that I can plan accordingly. TIA!!!!!

For me took like 3 1/2 hours the whole process, since I arrive to finish the interview. I am Hamilton office there they wait everybody finished their test to go for the interview and call the people randomly. I think it will depend of how many people is doing the test and officers interviewing.. The day I presented were like a 25 people taking the test and 3 officers. The test is only half and hour.
 
Based on the above post, it might varies between local offices.
This is based on my test/interview.
Mine was the Scarborough office and they started interviewing people as soon as they finish the test. Therefore, people who were done within the first 5-10mins pretty much got in and out in less than 30mins (test + interview). If they wait for everyone to complete the test and interview one by one afterward, then it will take much longer. Maybe plan to take 3 hours off your work, not including commuting time to be on the safe side.
