CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN THE SEQUENCE OF THE STATUS THAT WILL APPEAR IN THE ON LINE APPLICATION STATUS AND THE FREQUENCY BETWEEN EACH STATUS. FOR ME IT SAYS 'RECEIVED' FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS. SOME SAYS IT WILL CHANGE TO 'IN PROCESS'. BUT MY FEW FRIENDS WHO ALSO HAD ''RECEIVED' GOT TEST DATE BEFORE GETTING 'IN PROCESS'. WHAT IS THE CORRECT SEQUENCE.
ALSO IT IS SAID THAT FROM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT DATE WITHIN 8 MONTHS FULL PROCESS WILL BE COMPLETED. IS IT SO?
PLEASE CLARIFY.

Sometimes e-cas does not update. You can't rely on e-cas fully.
Always monitor your physical mailbox for any mails from cic.
The last line updated on my online status is that the file was transferred to my local office however, i got test/interview invite in the mail and i already gave the test/interview and I am still waiting for the oath and the e-cas still shows as "file was transferred to local office"
