Yes. They also must meet citizenship requirements - physically present in Canada for the past 3 out of 4 years - before they can apply.

Your asking if because married, they don't have to take the test?

Unfortunately not, that will be required for anyone aged 18-54 who meets the other requirements.

Hmmm, wait, so you have to have PPR for 4 years, having lived in Canada for at least 3? Or can you apply exactly 3 years from the date you landed (assuming you landed the same day as getting PPR)?

Can I apply for PR just for me and my kids and not for my husband?
I am staying in canada with my kids for the past 1 year.
please advice

No, 3 out of the previous 4 years. You must have been physically present in Canada for 1095 days out of the previous 4 years. You can apply when you meet that requirement. Please see eligibility requirements.

If you apply for PR, you must include your husband in your application. You can list him as non-accompanying if you want to but you do have to include him.
