Citizenship - processing times

Hi all,
Wondering if members here can tell me what's the processing time for citizenship applications nowadays. I applied for myself and family in Nov 2017 via registered post and documents were received in Sydney, NS on 25th Nov 2017 which I found by tracking on Canada Post site. However, I haven't received any acknowledgement to date and worried as I've heard that generally people get acknowledgement in a month or so. Is this a normal time considering Christmas break and also what can I do to get status of my application.

There's nothing to worry about.
Some october applicants are still waiting for their AOR (or getting their these days) and many from November haven't received it yet either.
It will come soon enough hopefully

AOR on 10th Jan 2018

Thanks, looking at your timeline i guess it will take another month as i filed a month after you.

From looking at the different monthly applicants time to recieve AOR differs widely. Anywhere from 1-2 months is average. You will get it. I’m in the same boat, checking email everyday hahaha

I applied on Dec 14th so will I be getting by Feb 14th the acknowledgment?
Can you please post the from email id of the acknowledgment letter?
