As it says if you urgently need the money due to increased costs related to covid 19 you can apply for it. This isn’t free money it is added to a deficit that we and our children will have to pay so if you don’t need it don’t apply. If you are struggling to eat, pay your rent, heat your home because you have had to order food online or buy more cleaning supplies then apply.

I was aware that the amount is not automatically added to the ODSP benefit, but thank you for clarifying in case some people didn't read the full content in the linked page. I should have said that "ODSP recipients MAY be eligible..." and must be applied for.
