if you are already Canadian citizen , then may be there is no obligation to live outside Canada

All you need valid Canadian passport to enter Canada

Once you are a citizen you can come and go for the rest of your life assuming you have a Canadian passport of course to travel. Having to maintain anything only applies to PRs maintaining residency not to citizens.
