Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the citizenship oath ceremony after completing all the conditions are complete.
How long does it take to get the date for the ceremony.

Here is my timeline:
Application sent; Jan 2021
System show March 2021.
AOR: June 2021.
Some document requested on Jan 2022.
Sent the document in March 2022.
April 2022: background check requested.
June 2022, background check completed.
9 December 2022, test requested.
16th December test completed.
15th May 2023, Prohibitions, Languages Skills, Physical presence updated to completed.
19th May 2023, request for 2nd background check.
30th May 2023, background check completed.
30th May 2023 Citizenship oath in progress

There is no date for the ceremony. I did not receive the email. I wanted to know how long it takes ?

you should see an update on portal in few days(2-3) with the date. Email can take time depending on office. Mine came almost 3 weeks before the ceremony but others have reported receiving it 4-5 days before ceremony.

IRCC says to contact them if you have not received email 6 business days before the ceremony.
