Citizenship certificate waiting time for child increasing!

So last year in Seoul and the prior years the average waiting for the citizenship certificate was under 4 months now its averaging 8+ months! I am still waiting to receive the paper so I can travel to Canada as the liberals changed the passport and dual citizenship requirements!!

It's ridiculous my wife who is Korean and has never been to Canada and I can go to Canada but my child can't because we need a Canadian passport which I can't get unless I have the certificate or a specific flight itinerary.

What's going on with the current government? They are ruining immigration even more!

If your child is under the age of 2, you can apply for a limited validity Canadian passport based on the fact that you have applied for the Certificate of Citizenship.

If your child is over the age of 2, then you should sorted this out years ago and can't blame it on anyone else.
