Citizenship application rejected due to physical presence incomplete

Asking for my spouse -
His citizenship application got rejected and sent back after 3 Months where it says “Physical presence calculator is incomplete”

He had all the details already the section and nothing is missing . He has NO pre PR day and no US travel . Unable to understand why would this happen and what should we do ? We still have nothing to update on the section.

This happens more often than you'd think and it's usually not actually about missing days. The most common reason IRCC returns an application for "physical presence calculator incomplete" is a formatting issue, dates entered in the wrong format, a gap in the timeline that isn't accounted for, or the calculator not covering the full 5 year period right up to the signature date.

Double check that every single day from the start of the 5 year window to the application date is accounted for with no gaps, even if he never left Canada. Sometimes people leave the end date blank on their last "in Canada" entry or the dates don't line up perfectly day to day. One day gap and the system flags it as incomplete.

If everything really does look correct, resubmit with a short note explaining that all physical presence information was included in the original submission. Sometimes it's just a processing error on their end.
