I have been traveling US every day since last 3.5 years. I cross border everyday and comeback sameday. As its request from CIC to record all in and out even its sameday that would be around 1095 entries for me, how can I avoid that? I am applying Online Still CIC websites says I have to write all records, its very time consuming even I know I am now over 1100 days present.
Any other option for me for Online submission?

I don't think there's any way to avoid that.

Thanks for reply dear. I don't understand, if day same day in and out is counted as 0 Zero, than what's point of writing all 1095 days?

You have to list all travel out of the country.

You cannot avoid listing your entry and exit (unless IRCC change their citizenship process).
Just enter all the days (remember if you stay home sick, mark that day and do not automatically put every weekday as in and out).
It's just a lot of typing. But that's the current application and you need to follow the process.

Another way is to wait till it's 5 years after you leave your job in the states and apply so you don't cross it everyday any more for the period for evalute.
Otherwise, just enter those days in the physical presence calculator.

I moved to Windsor in 2019 and I cross the border every weekday. I listed all my exits and entries on the physical presence form. It was not that time consuming, I spent 3 days filling out the form, ( about 3 hours per day).

A few formulae in Excel should finish this in a couple of hours, provided you are certain of your dates. Copy paste on a sheet and ready to go.

If you are familiar with Excel, you can do it yourself or send me a PM, I'll create the spreadsheet for you.

If we do Excel, we can not attach that Excel file in Online Citizenship Application. Physical presence calculator need to be used in order to attach in the application.

Perhaps create in Excel and copy paste? Or create a format in Excel, export as pdf and attach? No harm in trying I suppose if it can save hours of drudgery. As others have pointed out, there really isn't too much choice.

One advice needed: Use only online physical presence calculator?

I would strongly suggest keeping your own using excel or any other similar, so that you have your own copy and can keep it running with count of days, etc. (It can be printed or pdf printed whenever needed).

I have a running with simple formula that counts days. It has more columns than strictly necessary so that there is no confusion between departure/arrival days and days inside/outside Canada (i.e. it counts both days inside and outside correctly and very clear what needs to be recorded).

Columns are:
Trip info
Day of departure
first day outside
last day outside
Day of return
Days outside
Days inside (to previous)

The excel formulae are simple arithmetic really.

Two notes:
-I haven't written the formulae for same day or next-day trips, b/c not needed in our case.
-The way I do this is the 'day of departure' column is populated with the 'today' formula, every time a new trip is done, just over-write the today in the next row and sums can be done simply for running totals.

I'm not at all attached to this particular set-up, just providing as an example - roll your own to your own needs.
