Hi all,

Has anyone here tried to take and print photos by their own (not studio) and eventually application just went well?

I am asking because one of the requirements is that you need to specify the name and address of the studio where the photo will be taken.

Because of this pandemic, we are very hesitant to have our photos taken in studios.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Get your photos done correctly. I am sure studios are following all procedures etc to make it safe. You can be in and out in 5 minutes.

I think the risk is minimal, most studios have appointments and won't accept walk-ins. The cases are going down in Ontario, so it is really up to you. Is it worth the risk to go in and get your photos, or do you prefer to wait until the pandemic is over?

IRCC requirements are very specific, I advise you follow them to the T.
You could wait till the pandemic is over
OR
You could take personal precaution, while also going to a studio where you know they also have covid protocols in place, e.g., Shoppers drug mart, Walmart, etc.
It's up to you.

All - thank you for all of your response!
We have decided to just go for the studio (make sure keep all steps to be safe from Covid) to avoid the risk of delays!

Cheers!
