My spouse and I did our PR-landing last year in May before spending some years on Work Permit in Canada.
I have been the only who has been working throughout our stay in Canada and file the Income Tax declaration accordingly + including/adding my spouse's SIN Number in the Tax Declaration.
My spouse is very eager in obtaining the Canadian Citizenship which she will be eligible (in terms of physical presence) to apply for around June / July next year.
Question is: Since my spouse is home-stay she didn't file any Income Tax Declaration herself. Is she still eligible / pass the Citizenship requirement for provision of proof of Tax Declarations even though she was not required to file herself due to no having an income?
