Hi Everyone.
I have recently received a notice to prepare for my test, and today i have contacted CIC to get a further information, and the agent over the phone told me they are doing a background check on your application, do anyone know how long it would take to clear the background check.

I don't know exactly what they do during a background check, but in short, if you're from a country with a well-functioning bureaucracy that Canada regards as safe for national security purposes, the security check should be a lot faster than if you're from a country with opposite traits.

I am from india, and there a are internal and external MOU between canada and india, what do you think my process should be faster.
