For everyone that keeps moaning as to why CIC are doing different things with processing. As of 31 Dec 2012 616,271 PR applications were awaiting a decision! It's a lot of work!

I dunno. The way I see it is that the only way they seem to be able to cut down the count is throwing a couple of hundred thousand applications out every once in a while.

Given the 2013 speed up, late 2012 applicants life myself should expect a "2012 was like a long time ago, let's drop them" act passed in the parliament soon.

Come on guys...chin up! Most of us are in the same boat. Only a few 2013 have been placed "in process". Also, I disagree with your logic there....because, of those 533k only a small fraction are CEC apps. If they were to throw some out, I think it would be safe to assume they wouldnt do it to those that have Canadian experience and have intregrated...which is what they are looking for. 6-7 month wait is still not that bad.... I too wish it was faster, but just the prospect of staying here longterm is worth waiting a little bit.

It is for the overall approval rate (Nearly half from Buffalo-RPC). The data for CPC-Ottawa for CEC class from Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 is

Apps Received : 6760

Total processed : 3166
Approved : 2033
Refused : 1094 (Of which 2 were from CIO Sydney)
Withdrawn : 39
Approval Rate : 65%

whereas for Buffalo-RPC it was

Total Processed : 4019
Approved : 3778
Refused: 188
Withdrawn: 53
Approval Rate : 95%

Hope it will be better for the rest of the application still in process

I mailed My application to Sydney it was received on nov 2013 .....so is this means my application belongs to 348 cases ?
