CIO Sydney , Nova Scotia

Almost a month since AOR, my file is still stuck at CIO Sydney NS.
Medicals not yet passed.
IP1 not yet started.
Looks like a long ride!!

For some people. it first goes to CIO and then to Ottawa. For others, it goes to CIO and then local VIsa office. Difficult to say! Im on day 88 and I am still at CIO sydney so I think all the processing is done there itself before they issue it to LVO for my PPR.

Hi Johnsyk. I was just wondering if you have gotten your PPR yet? If you have, at what stage did your application move to a Visa Office, if it moved at all? This is my 113 days in CIO and i am a little worried that the application is yet to move to a visa office let alone being completed. Please respond

I'm at IP1 since 19-June-18, shortly received and update suggesting that my application is with CIO Sydney Nova Scotia.
1. How long does it take for IP1 to NA2 there?
2. Ideally my file should move the New Delhi, is this necessary in most cases?
3. Any way to expedite the case by proactively requesting or writing to CIO Sydney?

IP1 20-June

Is there a way to know if the office is still open and processing applications? Waiting for AOR1 and most people seem to have received their AOR1 within two weeks. I haven't seen any updates from the office for anyone recently so just wondering if anyone knows if they are still open and processing?
