CIMT College in Toronto

Dear experts, I would like to know about CIMT college in Toronto. I have done BBA (Hons) Finance and took GRE and TOEFL recently however the tests were'nt up to the required level of masters program. I could achieve only GRE V136, Q145, AW2.5 and TOEFL R13, L17, S22, W20. I took IELTS and secured 8 band. Now I'm taking admission in Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management which is of two years and the college states the diploma is equal to masters level.

Apart from the working conditions in Canada, I would like to know the college reputation in securing the visa. Your expert opinions will be appreciated.

Since you are talking about CIMT college, really i heared it first time might be because of short form.Anyway couldnt makeout from the shortform.

well if you are asking then check the below link if your college is not listed in the list. you will not allowed for any off-campus or post-study work permit.

It seems CIMT is not listed on cic official website. So will not allowed for any off camp or post study work permit. (legally).

Hence your I.e.l.t.s. score is good.other options are available to you.

V.O will give priority to college in the below format. but who knows you r lucky.
Public funded universities
public funded colleges
private universities
private colleges.

Hi,

U will be given a Visa for private Uni only if u have great academic record and good sound financials...You can check one of the post by Impulsesonic with regards to his CAIPS notes...

Hi,

1. CIMT is a private school so, you are not eligible for an Off-Campus Work Permit and Post Graduate Work Permit.
2. It's not against immigration rules to apply/study in a private school. Your visa is based on your profile. If your profile is good, you will get a visa.
