I attended a pre-arrival group session this week conducted by CIIP - PCII. The session was quite useful and I would recommend you to attend this if you can. Why?
1. To get a better understanding of the ground reality and go with the right expectations
2. To get your questions and concerns addressed
3. To connect with other folks who may also be traveling in the next 3 months or so, and as such building your first network with people who are kind of in the same boat as you
4. To quality for the My Individual Plan (MAP) session that is custom created based on your occupation and destination
5. To connect you with other partners and resources.
Attending this 3 months before your travel date is better as you can complete the free online bridging programs while in India itself. There is some costs associated with these bridging programs once you land in Canada.
