CIC's Temporary pause on NEW APPLICATIONS

Dear members,
the recent announcement of Minister Jason ..."Effective July 1st, 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will place a temporary pause on new applications to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and federal Immigrant Investor Program (IIP)."

does this mean only intake of new applications had been put to pause or the processing will also be in pause?
any ideas news on this members?, please share

Just the intake of new applications. This will allow them to process more of the backlog and develop the new rules that will come into effect once the gates are reopened.
