CIC TRV online application from US with B1/B2 Visa

I just want to share my experience on CIC online application.

January 28 - completed the application online.
January 30 - Email received with a letter ( IMM5740 ) and with "A decision has been made".
February 01 - Passport was sent through USPS (Flat rate Express mail Envelope) with a copy of the letter ( IMM5740 ) and a prepaid return envelope to LA CIC.

I'll keep you updated on how things may end up.

Just an update. I've received my passport today and it's positive Visa is approved Feb 04. I think for online applications they will only ask for your passport once it is approved.

Timeline:

Jan 28 - Online application submitted
Jan 30 - "Decision has been made" by CIC
Jan 31 - Passport Sent to CIC LA ( USPS express mail flat rate )
Feb 04 - Passport Received by CIC LA
Feb 04 - Visa Issued ( stamp )
Feb 09 - Visa received from CIC LA. ( return USPS express mail flat rate )
