Hi, so I am sending my application of sponsorship soon to CIC and I was wondering, should I put some important parts of my wedding and other films with my wife onto a USB or should I just send pictures?

And if you wouldn't mind could you tell me how many pictures is good, and what else I should include to prove to CIC that this is my spouse. Thanks!

hello,
I would reccommend sending as many pictures as you can, atleast a 100 maybe. Also, if you have any chat logs or phone logs with your spouse, send those as well. Too much proof is always better than not enough.

They will not accept USB sticks or movies, only printed photos

Are you sure at least 100? doesn't it seem like too much? can someone else also confirm this please.

I sent mine about 150. I also wrote at the back of EACH picture saying who/when/what.

it's going to depend on your visa office. it's not always recommended to send a lot of proof. for some visa offices it's more about quality not quantity and some visa offices want to see a lot of proof. it may not be necessary to send 100 or more pictures if other proofs are available - especially if they are of just the two of you posing for a camera. they want to see that your relationship is shared with your friends and family and that you see eachother at different times of the year/occassions.

Other proofs that are helpful: letters from family and friends who know of your relationship, screen shots from social media accounts showing your relationship is known to others and/or celebrating big moments/holidays, phone bills that show communication, a small grouping of communication logs (texting, skype, Private messaging, etc), receipts for trips taken together and/or wedding events, pictures of gifts to/from eachother, copies of cards sent to/from eachother.

100 is way too much , I sent 24 pictures only . chose quality over quantity .
