cic site doesn't let me to log in

I landed exactly one year ago. I used to be able to log in to the cic site and see the status of my PR application and progress.

I tried it recently and it wouldn't let me - is it normal? I checked all the info I am submitting - I tried my immigration file number, I tried my client number and it keeps saying "We were not able to identify you"

It also says "This service is only available to clients with applications in process. " - so it wouldn't show it if the application have alredy been finalized?

I guess it's because you don't have any applicaton still open.
