CIC sent its response to someone else technical difficulties to my email...

Hi,

I am not sure whether you are one of the members. But CIC apparently sent a response to "link application to this account" regarding TRV of another individual to my personal email address being used for my PR application.

Due to confidentiality, I could only mention that it is a TRV and the applicant is from India. Place of birth is Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. If you see this post, please inbox me and proof that you are actually the applicant. I also believe you reserve the right to file a legal complaint regarding a breach of confidentiality by the CIC.

On the other hand, I could not reply to the email because it is an automatic system email. Any suggestion on what else I could do to help the applicant who has been waiting for CIC's response?

I suggest you send a Case Specific Inquiry to CIC informing them of the error. I wouldn't bother phoning the call centre as they will tell you they cannot help you on just about anything you ask them.

This is so strange. I've never heard this before. It would be an unsusal circumstance if you have the same name and Email as the person in question.
