CIC requests for Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669)

Hi all, sorry to bother you all.
My AOR was Sep-20 and it has been silent for almost 1.5 years since the day of AOR. Today i saw they requested a Schedule A form.
Is that typical for CIC for requestin Schedule A for every applicant? I just want to understand the rationale and make sure it is not like a "redflag' of my application that brings them requesting this from me.

And whats the typical timeline after they received this Schedule A form ？

its normal. its used for the processing of your security checks. once you’ve submitted it, an IRCC officer would use it to perform background checks and if all is good, will pass your security check. I’ve had mine processed within a week but some applicants have been waiting months. kinda depends
