cic has no details of our application, but delivered as per tracking no.

Hi,

I applied for my Spouse outland application.
As per the tracking number (Canad post), the application was delivered on 13 june 2014.

when we called cic, the agent told my husband that they dont have any details of our application in their system.

They doubt that it might have been lost or something.

We are worried. wht should we do?

please help!!

this doesn't mean they lost your application. what it most likely means is your application is still waiting to be opened and processed. considering you applied mid june, and it takes 2 months for sponsorship approval, you are still a bit away from needing to worry. You won't be able to do anything about it until you are well beyond the posted processing time for sponsor eligibility. (currently 56 days). CIC is not sending out notifications that applications are received, only sponsorship approval letters.

I suggest joining the june applicant thread and seeing which applicants are getting approvals. It doesn't seem like they have gotten too far with june applications. Everyone is in the same boat as you are.

This is absolutely normal! Try not to worry!
The application has been delivered to CIC, but is currently in process. The processing time as of this message is 56 days. When I submitted mine, it was closer to 55 (in April), but no information was available until late June. You will receive a letter or email from the CIC stating that the application has been received and then a letter that will state what the decision is on the first part of the sponsorship (sponsorship approval). Only then will you be able to track your application through ECAS.

They are only working on applications received as of June 4th 2014 so they may not have done anything on the file yet

Don't stress yourself out and give it another couple weeks

CIC are not sending out letters when your application has been receive. You will receive an email with the decision of your sponsorship .If you receive the sponsorship by email another copy will not be mailed to you

I agree with this. I resent documents in March and heard zip until July but now things are going well and my status is updated. I couldn't even access eCAS until July ( again, normal). If you haven't received an letter (mail or email) regarding your SA in the time limit stated, then I'd call but if it says on the tracking it's there, then it's there. It just takes time.
