CIC Asking for wrong Police Clearance

Good Day Everyone,

I just receive an email from CIC that they need a Qatar Police Clearance for me but I did not work there my wife used to work there but we already passed it and they accept it already what should I do.

Did you stay there for six or more months?

No my wife use to work there before we already provided the police certificate and they accept it already now they asking me to provide it

What exactly did the request say?

This is the message:

Please note that we will accept the previously submitted Qatar police certificate issued to my wife's name. She does not need to apply for a new certificate.


You are, however, required to submit your own Qatar police certificate. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will proceed with a review of your client’s file based on documents and information available which could lead to a refusal.

Why does it refer to "your client's file" - are you an agent?

They think you lived in Qatar. Does your address history indicate that you lived in Qatar? Can you prove you did not?
