CIC asked for Church marriage certificate from Ukraine??!!

Hi, today I checked and I saw CIC asked for Church marriage certificate from Ukraine, my friends did sponsorship without it, how is it that they ask it now ?

Every-case is different, there should be a reason why they have asked you for it and never asked for your friend's. I would simply get the church marriage certificate as per their request. Good luck

Did you have a civil ceremony? If they are requesting something that you cannot supply, you can respond to them via CSE to advise them. For example, if you didn't marry at a church, then just explain how the wedding happened, and who officiated.
