Dear all ,

I have a question about the way age will be calculated while creating the EE profile .

My date of birth falls in the month of July ,1978 .
What would be my age as per the EE system ?. 38 / 39 or 40 ?

I'm slightly confused by the way it is calculated ? .

Could anyone please anse this question ?.

If your date of birth falls on xx july, 1978 then till a day before your birthday i.e (xx-1) july midnight 11:59:59 pm, you are 38 years old and as soon as xx july 2017 ( your birthday) starts, you are 39 years old.

You will be 55 at 1 second past 24:00 hrs on Dec 27 2019 or at 24:00 depending how anyone wants to interpret when Dec 27 2019 starts.

Although actually believe midnight is 00:00 so you could say the next day starts then although never really paid much attention to whether is 2400 or 00:00 more important things to think about in life.

In answer to your question yes on December 28 you will already have been 55 for a whole day (27th) already

I am a bit confused in the answers. Becoz 2 answers are giving 2 different results. My DOB is 21 March 1987. What will be my age for Canada immigration? 30 or 31?

As per the other answers it should be 54! Request to kindly clarify!

My DOB is 20th May 1991. I have already submitted my express entry profile in the month of December 2020. If I do not get any EOI by May 2021, will I lose any points for my age as I would be turning 30 years by 20th May 2021.

Yes, you will automatically lose points on May 20th.
