I got my PR one year ago, and I got my PR cards already.
After a year now I am moving to different address.
I went online to check my CIC status and to update my address at cic.gc.ca application status but could not find my account.

During the application process and about 4-5 months after getting the PR I could go online and check my status, I had 5 lines I believed, with the last as landed on ....

I tried to search for my account via UCI number, PR card number but none worked.

I have two questions:

1. Do I need to update my address to CIC after getting PR
2. When does the account seize to exist i.e you applied for PR, after 1.5y you got it and then does the online access or your account to check your status get terminated?

Is this normal that I cannot check my status online now when I used to be able to?

1. No
2 It will only be on the system for about 6 months after you "land"
