CIC 2014 Quota for FSWP Cap Reached or Intimation received to any applicant

Can someone please confirm if any of you received acknowledgement for your application or assigned with appliation ID after applying for PR under FSWP in this latest quota opened on 1st May 2014. I have not received any communication from CIC so far. . This makes me panic ...

Yes - some people have certainly received communication. It depends when you applied. It's taking 2-3 months to hear from CIC from the time you applied.

Hope, those who received intimation would have applied on 1st of may itself. My application was delivered to CIC office, Novascotia on 12th of may 2014. And my NOC category is 2174. How is the chances of getting my application picked up before the cap reaches. I am getting tensed. Is there any contact number / email where we can get this confirmation

If you want to communicate with the CIC,you must wait for at least
8 weeks after submitting your application.

Just relax as you are within the limit.If all is well with your application
you will hear from them soon.
