Hi, I am applying for a federal skilled worker visa; however I am having trouble choosing the correct NOC code for my work experience as a Pricing Analyst...

My responsibilities included: 1. analysing retail prices and sales data to produce reports for management
2. Analysing and reporting on products that were changing in cost price
3. Inputting and maintaining product prices in computer/pricing software
4. Taking phone calls from branch managers to advise and approve discounts
5. Making ad hoc reports for account managers

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as to what NOC you all think this job role fits into!!!

Thanks a bunch

see, which NOC fits: http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=841339

this one might be a choice: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=1&val1=1112&val65=1112

Thanks for the reply mute_man

I don't require it to be one of the occupations that fit the new eligible occupations list, as this is an addition job to the one i have already chosen as my eligible occupation.

i looked at financail analysts also but the role responsibilities don't seem to match up! i am really finding it had to match up my responsibilities to any noc.. its quite strange. ???

Hi Buddy,
I have the same position as you were, did you figure out what noc code could work?

Thanks

I am a Pricing manager and am using 1122 as it fits the most. However, its not a perfect fit but still the best one to my knowledge.
