Chinese PCC queries

Hi there,

I have applied for PR under CEC stream. I am appliying to get my PCC from my home country now (Colombia) but I also lived in Guangdong province (China) from mid of September 2013 and left on Feb 9th, 2014. During this period, I have visited other places such as Hong Kong, Macau and South Korea (each for a short time, less than a week), so my stay in China Mainland wasn’t continue. In addition, I visited Guangdong province back 2017(around 40 days). For both visits I was holding a Q2 visitor visa.

I am wondering given the situation above, can I apply for the Chinese PCC since my two visits time add up exceeding 6 months, it was intermittently though.

I heard there are many difficulties of applying for this Chinese document, especially if I am not a Chinese citizen and I do not live in China anymore.

Even though I have not been asked for this certificate, my concern is IRCC might request it later on so I have to get prepared for it.

Any help or same experience would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to get police certificate.
We are in the same boat. My wife lived in Beijing for 5 months only so pcc is apparently not obtainable.

Hi, I wasn't able to get PCC from Beijing as PA lived only for 5 months in Beijing. I wrote an explanation letter that it was unobtainable and attached unobtainable letter from an agency whose request for PCC was declined by Beijing Police. It worked and they gave us PPR in a couple of weeks.
