China PCC gap

I stayed in China from Aug 2007 to Aug 2010 on study permit. I have obtained my PCC but that covers Sep 2007 to Aug 2010. I obtained my PCC with the help of former university teacher. Upon asking my teacher said she was told by the PSB the period from Aug 2007 to Sep 2007 (less than a month) is not covered in my PCC for 3 reasons:
1. PSB has no record for that period.
2. I was on X visa (for entry) for that period and my study permit started in Sep 2007. (This explanation is not plausible since my PCC starts 5 days after my study permit starts.)
3. I was not registered at the local police station for that period. (However, I do remember I was registered at the local police station within 24hrs after I landed in China).

Would the gap create any problem? What should I do? I am at post ITA stage.

If it was issued after u left China n never visited china again then it should not be a problem

That's too bad. Sorry to hear about that. Could you please share some specifics? Was the gap in the beginning or in the middle? What kind of visa/permit were you on?

it would be better if you can go visit the local chinese police station and ask for full duration PCC record... They have the record if you registered yourself within 24hrs upon your arrival...

You should get a new PCC covering your whole stay in China from the very first entry date till last exit date, my friend's PCC got rejected for the same reason (and his gap was just like 1-2 days).
