They just updated on ecas status from "in process" to Decision Made" and they also updated my wife address to my canada address. but the update only stated Edmonton, Alberta, Canada instead of my full Edmonton Canada address. Should i leave it that way or should i update it myself since there is an option for me to do so now?

Gongrats!

Just came back after visiting wifey, they haven`t opened our file yet. We are really pissed off, getting ready to burn the damn place if we don`t get the AOR by Wednesday >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Meanwhile we got our GCMS notes, paper file has been collecting dust since Sept 10 (or maybe they use the folder as a racket to play ping pong during working hours >:( >:( >:( ).

Also noticed that in the section "Correspondence", they've only recorded 1 incoming email, whereas I have sent 4 emails and 1 casespecific inquiry. On the top of it, the STATUS of the email shows as CANCELLED >:( >:( >:( >:(

What a BS !!!!

Almost 2 months without AOR now, time to change tactics - sending email every hour, they will be also getting emal from other places 8)

Does anyone have recent info about their current processing times?

My wife just got an AOR from the Beijing embassy today. The letter said that current processing times are ( 8 ) eight months for routine cases.

Is it possible that I ask where you see the "Correspondence" section on ecas? If possible could you post a screenshot? I've been getting messages from the Beijing Office and CIC through email as requested but on ecas I don't see any record of emails or case specific inquiries sent/received etc.

They started processing my wife's case on Nov. 1st. and asked for passport immediate as well as another document which we've sent in but nothing else so far.

It's so frustrating specially as Xmas approaching and we all know it will cause major delays if it's not done by 20th. or so...

My wife got a request for her passport and resume/CV dated Dec. 13th. The embassy wants it by Dec 28th. More progress :D :D

Some good news from Beijing VO

DM2 finally on Jan. 4th!

Am I correct to assume we are in the safe now? No more surprises to be had? How long for the PPT to come back these days?

Really hoping we don't hit the CNY with the passport stuck in Beijing!!!

BTW, we are June application.

PPT was requested end of October along with a Police letter.

:) Congratulations! That's very encouraging !

Hi, could someone tell me how long it take for police Check in China.

We plan to marry here in Canada just wondering if she should bring the information with her.

Thanks
