Child Sponsorship - Divorced Parents

Hi,

Does anyone has experience sponsoring a child after the parents have been divorced? What additional documents are required by IRCC? Is Guardian Certificate / Custody Order by family court sufficient? The child is in Pakistan.

Generally either evidence that sole custody has been awarded by the courts to the sponsoring parent - or written authorization from the other parent that the child can be moved to Canada.
