Child sponsored from inside Canada

I was just wondering,can you sponsor your dependent child who's in Canada on a visitors visa? And also,what's the minimum age for a child to be sponsored?

Hi

You can sponsor the child outland while s/he is in Canada as a visitor; there is no inland option to sponsor a dependent child. There is no minimum age.
