Child Schooling law in Toronto

Dear All

Our child will be 3 years in October 25 2012

I wish to know what is the cut off date of birth When a child HAS TO ATTEND SCHOOL in toronto . .

If its 4 years and school starts in September, then does that mean that by law our kid is not required to attend school until next year september -- but he can join in middle if he wants to ?

No, Grade 1 elementary school starts at age 6. There is kindergarten for 4/5 year olds, but it is not compulsory
