i check some last year posts, people apply in chc chandigarh or new delhi they get visa in one month average time. what happen this year average time is 4 months.

where i asked to the lady who accept my file in vfs jalandhar about processing time of the work permit application, she says it takes 21 days average to reply (may be reply for medical or medical along with passport). but i see a lots of friends applied in sep still waiting for the response.

does any body have clear view about the delay for this year.

Hi inderdeep228 ,

The delay time which shows on the site is quarterly average time.

There was a strike held for 3-4 months and it was ended up in the month of Oct 2013. Hence People who applied between April-Oct 2013 faced delays. Average Processing time has been effected due to this.

Now there is no strike, Hence we all get the visa at right time hopefully.

But still waiting for 4 Months is painful. CIC is very slow to approval.
