Try to wear as much as you can. The first time I came to Canada after my wedding, I had everything in my handbag, the customs searched and took everything out... I ended up paying $600 tax on my gold. So, my advice would be to wear whatever you can. And try not to over declare what hou are bringing in!

The best you can keep them in luggage but not in hand carry,
Rarely custom people stop passenger and ask them to open beg.

I just got back last month.
the buzzer might go off but they won't tell you to remove anything

Wearing it is not the solution.. I am sure u wont wear two sets at a time lol.. U would look funny
I ve read on the cbsa website that prepare a list of jewelry, take pictures, signed by jewelr or your insurance company, also keep receipts if you have.. Once you do that declare all that in the form you were given during your flight or arrival ... If you wont declare and in case they find it out, you ll end up paying tax... Thats the reason u paid 600 $ ... If u wont declare these items now, anytime u take and bring them back to canada, whenever they find it out, they ll charge u with tax... Please do read the link below too.

I landed about two months ago. I had ALL my gold in the hand carry. They didnt even ask anything and let me go. Just fill the B4 form before hand and declare whatever you are bringing with you. Also take pictures n bring receipts. You won't have to pay any tax. And another tip. Don't ever put your gold in the luggage. If they misplace it, you will lose everything. Keep it with you and make sure you don't misplace your hand bag.

i submitted my family wise 5 passport(s) On 23 jan 2015 to CHC islamabad Visa office .. 50 days over now and Today i got a reply from London visa office...!

Please be advised that your passports and landing documents will be returned to you shortly by our office in Islamabad.

Does anyone tell me what is the exact definition of term '' Shortly '' like How many days ? any estimation ?
