and through tcs i received the pp with visa n confirmation of permanent residence! Is there any document??
and what would be the steps at the airport? Would be great if someone could guide it would help other forum members who would be flying...

Salaam everyone

My husband had an interview in which his application was approved, Alhamdulillah.. But due to them not having yet recieved his re-medical result he wasn't able to get his visa on the spot.

He did his re-medical on the 8th of january & his interview was on the 27th.

Any idea how long it will take for them to recieve his results?
Should we contact LVO to inquire about this or should we wait it out for a bit?
We did contact the medical center & they gave us an e-mail but no response from them .

well i just came to know that i supose to send me pp through vac and i did it through regular service
fault is mine i didnt read email carefully in excitement

Same Schedule is mine but Airlines is different. And I think you're going first to Montreal or London and then to Calgary.Have a Safe Journey.

Just wanted to update everyone here.
I got to the airport a couple of hours before the flight landed to talk to CBSA. One of the officers assured me that everything is available electronically so it's not really an issue. So in the end, she came out without any problems.. she told the customs officials that she didn't bring her landing papers and they just printed out another copy for her.
She had a bit of an issue during her layover in London though. The custom officers almost sent her back to Pakistan from there because they figured she will get sent back from Canada.
Anyway, she is here now and thanks for the people who provided advice and all the best to everyone still waiting for their spouses.

Why was customs involved at London....just curious ... i thought it's only done at exit and entry points

Custom people usually harras people at London and Istambol.

Got my passport request on Jan 23 and was received in Islamabad Jan 28.
nothing after that though
but at least I am with my husband now, even if it is in Pakistan
and he met his daughter!

Asalamualaikum everyone. My husband is sponsoring me and my timeline is as below. my application received in 12th October 2012, confirmation msg from embassy 12th November 2012, my case was transferred in UK embassy 24th feb 2014, again start processing 17th sep, re medical 25th sep 2014, passport request 13th jan 2015, received in Islamabad's embassy 14th jan 2015, now still waiting for passport. Let's c when it will be return?
