OMG... thats so strange and sad
have you called or sent an email? you should contact your PM there in CA

and 33 months are for the the worst case scenario... not for all cases, most of the cases are closed in 26 months at max

That is not true. Just check the CIC Website. It clearly says that 80% of cases took 33 Months too complete as of the last quarter. When I applied 4 years ago, 80% of cases took 23 months to complete.

People only hear about the good stories of how cases are completed within a year but they dont pay attention to the cases that take much longer.

The problem is all this Ping-Pong game CIC has started with our files.... 2011, 2012 cases sat in Ottawa CPP-O office catching for over one year... then were sent to Islamabad.... where they caught more dust.... then they were sent to London.... n now they're stuck in London.... someone on the Pakistan through London thread posted a letter they received from London which says that they are processing files from may-june 2013 at the moment.... 2011, 2012 cases r left in limbo.... someone on here from 2012 mentioned their file is still in Islamabad.... this is ridiculous!

I am applying for a TRV for my spouse and wanted to purchase medical insurance for the duration of the visit and attach that as part of the application.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on which insurance provider i should approach and how much it should cost/per month?

Thank you.

My ecase chaned to "In process" June 24th. No activity since then. What does that mean?

Next activity should be PPR, you'll receive it anytime from days to month(s) depending on the completion of background checks and the complexity of the case.
