Can someone answer these questions please
I send Urdu nikah nama in original (the one of two pages with signs of bride and groom along with of witness), I also send computerized Nikah nama that is printed on page like computerized birth certificate.. Here n forum, many members got email that a translation of English should be submitted..
1.Kindly tell me from where I can get this translation and whose attestation can be done on it. Can it be taken on a plain paper..
2. Do we have to involve NADRA in registring the marriage? I got my compuertized Nikah Nama from Union Council.. I asked them and they said its registered.

Answer of 1st Question
You can translate your Nikkah NAMA or any other documents(for future) to any Notary Public( In URDU WESIKA NEVEES) . Take your nikkah nama to him he will translate each and every word in English and in the end he will stamped and sing your translated document. charges will be around 500 PKR. I guess

Nadra makes a computerized marriage registration certificate which is in English , and doesn't require any translation. They are now becoming mandatory to go with Nikkah Nama translation, also if you go and check NADRA office they also make one Family Registration Certificate which also act as a official document for your family existence in Pakistan. I would recommend you check a nearby NADRA office in your area.

Nothing... last only received approval letter .Thats it

Well strange things.. I got ppr1 n 2 but still my ecas says application received.. While mostly for others it changed to in process..
And secondly the email which my hubby received was originally sent on 18 Aug Monday.. As it has been mentioned in email but my hubby n my father in law got email yesterday night on 21 Aug.. It took 3 days for email to reach us.. ;D and they got email directly not in the junk folder.. So why it took so much time.. : dont know..

Jab immigration minister kay Pakistan aur Pakitstayoon kay baaray may keh khayaalat hoon....what can u expect from people under him ! neechay walay automatically saaray Pakistanyoon aur un kay casses ko shak ki nigah say he dekhain gay.....Not even a single Pakistani official responded to this...

Whether you like him or not, his subordinates are responsible for processing your case.....whatever he (CIC's BOSS) says would affect the way our application is looked at....that explains the increased time on Pakistani spousal cases as compared to other countries in that region
