Me husband will be taking all the jewlery of my wife on my first landing as immigrant i have all the recipts and pictures taken of the jewlery will that be issue at customs please PM me

take a look at the "settler" box as this one applies to you. they might give you a difficult time as the jewlery is for use by your wife and not you who is immigrating...they might tax it. they might ask why your wife didnt bring this jewlery when she came back to canada...perhaps others can give more advice?

Unfortunately, the applicant will have to return to the country of origin.

There is no other embassy that will stamp visa instead of CHC-Islamabad.

You can't mail your passport from another country (Canada) to Pakistan. It is not accepted.

That is incorrect.

If you're here on a TRV and your file is being processed by London, you can send your passport directly to London from Canada. You do not need to go back to Pakistan. Only reason London does two PPRs for people in Pakistan is due to the fact that you cannot send your passport outside of Pakistan from Pakistan. That is a country specific law and only applies to people in Pakistan.

I have confirmed this by emailing London directly.

They are not working due to security concerns, probably till later this week.

I am July 2012 Applicant wife case - got correspondence on Jan 2 2014 for RePCC forms etc etc- - I haven't rcvd anything from them TCS says delivered but no acknowledgement- should I be worried or its normal not to reply-

Protest is going on in Isb Pak, not in London , phir London walo kyun chup kr gye ho

Because of security concerns in Islamabad CIC and medical centers are not close but they have decrease the speed of work and because of this London CIC also pressed the break paddle. If London keep sending requests and Islamabad is not moving with them , they will have again bundle of files. So i think this is the reason why London is slow now. Its my opinion .
