Can my hubby apply for a TRV while sponsorship is processed..I mean I want him to apply for a visit coz u never know May be a luck chance : just wondering : so guys wat you say ??? Can he??

It takes 20 working days to return LVP. (Means a month).

I didn't have an issue reserving a ticket on my son's name without his pp. I think your travel agent is just talking trash.

If you applied July 1, you should receive by Aug 1 if nothing is wrong in application. (They usually call on provided numbers if something is faulty)

It will make no difference by going to the consulate and asking for LVP, they will send you home and tell you to wait.

You will have to wait it out. Aug 1 isn't too far.

i applied for my son's LVP on July 1st... still waiting for his passport.

Also i could not book a ticket under his name.. the travel agent said u need to have a passport to be able to book a ticket to fly. so i did a reservation although it doesn't say that it's a reservation on it.. his and his mom's on the same date for Aug 10th 2014. is this ok?

Today is July 21st no answer yet.. and i need to go back to Pakistan so i can bring them back to Canada, my wife already got her PR Visa,

My Question is.. will it make a different if i go back pakistan and go to Canadian embassy and tell them to give my son a passport ASAP? anyone who been to CHC let me know? if they dont give right away how long will it take? Worse thing every waited for so long.. my wife has her visa but now waiting for my sons...

Any suggestion? how to get LVP back faster?

I sponsored my husband in July 2012 n got additional documents request in January 2014 since then still waiting for remedical n passport request.is there also any other July 2012 husband case in the same situation??

Same thing ..I'm waiting for a remedical and today I got an email from LVO informing me that my file is in a queue waiting for scheduling an interview ...this is soo frustrating ..!
Our GCMS notes which I got in may didnt show anything like this rather the result of an initial review in which that said that FOSS has done and no adverse info found and marriage is genuine and stuff like this which I think was a positive thing for us and I thought there would be no need for an interview and anything ..what do u guys say ?

My husband received an email on May 16, 2014 to provide a PCC and he mailed on May 24 to London and it got received by Ian. And today I got an email that, they still didn't get it. What should we do, please help me

the true unpredictability of cic as all the process of my file was delayed. fine that was fine i manged it now when they have asked for the passport the timeline was being 3rd day passport being returned to applicant, now my passport is with them for more then two weeks and i would like it as early as possible as i will be travelling ASAP in sha Allah

but cic dont give a Fish
