helllow every buddy ..... i have safely landed in canada on sunday morning... just having jet lag still... n hurrah i am still in love with my hubby .... uptil now he is quite caring.... just wanted to say thankkkkkkkkkkkuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D... to every one on this forum.. ppl afre really helpful and we will all stay in touch inshaalah in future .. this forum is wonderful expereince,..... but i am missing my parents and specially my siss...aaaw

I do not see any signs of CHC-ISB being slow.

I am curious to knwo where you get these numbers ? as on data website the number updated are up to june 2013

Did you provide them with a letter from your parents stating that they would also support and let your husband stay at their house until he gets a job after he arrives in Canada?

I may be able to assist with your question.
I'm not a student but when I applied I was not working and my uncle (dad's brother)provided me with a letter stating that he will provide for me financially for 6 months or until I can find employment.

I did work for most of my life but have taken a break since I sponsored my hubby so that my daughter and I can visit my husband in Pakistan.

You do not need ANY income or proof of financial support to sponsor your spouse. You can be broke and jobless and still sponsor your spouse as long as you're not on any social welfare.

As such you don't need to prove that your parents or anyone else for that matter would be supporting you financially to sponsor a spouse.

The above does not apply if you're sponsoring a spouse WITH dependent kids, then yes you have to show certain income.

How long does a regular medical exam take guys? I mean how many hours does it take for the exam to be done?

well form my experience max 2 hrs as i reached at IOM islamabad around 9:00 am and left around 10:20 am but when i was coming out rush ho raha tha so be there at 8:30 n u ll b fine

Hey did you send any receipt or sth to CHC by urself after ur medical done ?? or did IOM took ur IMM1017 Form to fill it up ??

you are right, my hubby had an apt for 8:30am but he went there at 8am but could not leave until 10:10am...I was worried cuz I had not heard from him until 11am )

They fill the form themself and send it to delhi and email the medical results to CHC-isb,
after 6 days u can check from IOM on phone through ur EMI number (given on ur medical form), has they updated ur medical data or not?

For a normal healthy person , ideally medical exam takes min 1:30 and max 2 hrs,

Yesterday, i got PCC, photos and other documents back from CHC-ISB, we have sent those documents with our re-medical and PRFF fee request.

IDK what would be the next?

lol, if that's the case, you should call CHC and advise them of the error. Insha'Allah they will give you more favourable attention and finish your file fast
