u r mrs. sam. u know i had always thouGHT that u have gone to canada.. y is ur case delaying? when exactly did u apply? have u goteen ur aor frm islamabad? did they issue u a new file no?

my case is not delaying i have applied last year aug 2012 and i think its normal not delay i am hopefull i will get something by dec 2013....no i didnt get any thing from islamabad..my physical file is in ottawa and e -file is in islamabad

What's e file? How to check it's status in gcms notes?

Islamabad doesn't give any AOR.
you apply, get your sponsorship approval and thats the only letter you receive until additional document request or remedial or PPR.
i don't know why people talk about AOR from Islamabad.
when you receive GCMS notes only then it talks about when was the file transferred and gives you the principal applicant's UCI and the paper file # which starts from B.

the file # which starts from F comes in the sponsorship approval letter from Mississauga!

and in the gcms notes the e-file is under the option:

INCOMING
Incoming 1:
comments: Islamabad e-storage
before all the pdf attachments

maybe u r an old case thats why?
my F file # was on the sponsorship approval and B is the paper file # .. even my gcms notes start from the F file #.

anyways the point is, the UCI is enough to check the e-case which is never reliable!

The reason people talk about AOR is because in 2011 and prior Islamabad would issue AOR to applicants (which would mean that Islamabad has opened their file or is in queue). However, ever since CPP-O came into the picture that "AOR" has disappeared they really don't issue any AOR anymore. But this word just continued to carry itself on...

Congratulations on the PPR for those of you who have got it. For the rest don't despair, they are working at it now. InshAllah we all get our PPR and Visas soon

lol i was putting the date of birth in the wrong manner... that's y it wasn't opening. silly me lols.. but thanx alot everybody at least it cleared my doubts abt receiving aor from islo.
and yes e-account is useless. it still says the same. but i have a question my status doesn't mention abt medical results received? while my friend's status shows it.. is it because i submitted my medical later when they asked for it. i didn't send it along with the application.
