CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Need some help,

Applied in June 2012 at Mississuaga

Got acknowledgement in August 2012 that sponsorship in approved and file is transferred to islamabad.

I inquired islamabad in feb 2013 about my file status and got reply in april 2013 that your file is not yet received from case processing pilot office.

i phoned cic and they told me that in august 2012 they sent my file to ottawa and in april 2013 ottawa sent it to islamabad.

Now in light of above can anyone elaborate whats going on? Why ottawa kept it for 7 months and sent it to islamabad? When should i expect my visa now?

I would say apply ur notes and see what they say // even tho ppl say apply for notes after one year.. but its usually like they transfer it to Isl for PPR .. so maybe thats what is going on with your file.

What is the main mode of communication of Ottawa and isb?
Email,mail or phone?
What if u r not able to answer your phone?

My wife is currently not in Pakistan so her phone is switched off.so..what r the consequences?

what about remedical? was there any tentative date when they will be asking for remedical? I got AOR just 6 days before your file i.e. on 25th jan 2012

Naqibee, I will suggest you to wait till at least till June/July to order these notes.
There is just no point in ordering your notes and getting too excited about it.

It hasn't been even 12 months since your transfer date to Ottawa/ISB.

it's been almost 15 months since we have submitted the application. no response
when will they start working on 2012 files!!!!!! :'(

no nuthing....in medical they have just written in progress...nuthing else....no dates nuthing....and the only thing i came to know thru my notes was dat my file is in Ottawa....even emailed them to confirm and yes it is in Ottawa....

mostly emails and letters. isb does call at times.
if your not able to answer phone they might call again later or send out a letter via post.

Major contacts occur via post.

Like re-medical request do chc also ask for re-police clearance certificate? Members plz share ur experience about it
