CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Has there been any update in the online status for you? For me It's been saying that Medical results have been received. i don't know if it means in Canada or Islamabad. It has been saying that since i was approved. Also since our timeline is the same if there is any update please let me know, and i will do the same. Thanks. No update since 6th sept, online status is "we received your application and medicals have been received" for me too.

Medicals go to New Delhi (regional office for asia) and are received there and they acknowledge to chc-isl (or may be cic) that they have received medical results.

same here- online login doesn't show medicals received. i have just emailed islamabad and ottawa- lets see what they say.

for those who have gotten their mp's involved- how did you go about it? would anyone be kind enough to let others know what you guys told your mp? please advise because i want to get my mp involved too. mp is a decent NDP guy so he might do something.

My lawyer received a response from CIC on the status of our application. We emailed Ottawa pilot centre on Monday again and received a reply that week saying we've met all criteria and now file has been transferred from ottawa to Islamabad to finalize our paperwork...(not sure what they need to finalize. I will ask my wife to visit the embassy and find out some more info.)

Filed in march, approved step 1 June and then the file was transferred to ottawa pilot for processing. I will keep you updated with what happens...

My lawyer received a response from CIC on the status of our application. We emailed Ottawa pilot centre on Monday again and received a reply that week saying we've met all criteria and now file has been transferred from ottawa to Islamabad to finalize our paperwork...(not sure what they need to finalize. I will ask my wife to visit the embassy and find out some more info.)

november like last month? i also got approved last month CHC said they transferred the file to Islamabad but Im going to wait until mid jan to contact my MP regarding my file. 2 months is a good enough time to transfer the file even with the delays ..

my letter said ur file has been forwarded to Islamabad for further processing. but Im going to give them 2 months so that they dont come back to me saying ur file got late and bla bla bla. I think 2 months is enough time for them to transfer my file to Islamabad.

Not sure what Ottawa did with my file for the past 6 months after I received step 1 approval. Wonder what ISB needs to finalize? Maybe they'll ask for passport soon? Hopefully this is the case.

you missed me bro, application files 17th July, 2012 and got letter from CHC on 4th September 2012 that my file has been transferred to Islamabad office and since that NO NEWS

Regardng askin ur wife ta visite embassy in isb wod b totally useless....
Few months back i had an issue of gettng police clearance report frm saudi arabia....since no family member is residing there anymore......question was ta how wod i get it now....i visited saudi embassy they were like WHAT DA HELL UR TALKIN ABOT? so i went to chc....i stood their for 3 hrs....they didnt even let me in.....finally they askd me to write an issue on paper....which they took in...then aftr 1 hr they said plz write a mail to smbassy they will reply...but they wont reply like dis..sso Bro dont ask ur wife to personally go there....just mail them....send faxs....dat wod b a a problm for her if shedoesnt reside in isb or pindi....n besides totally ussless....n in da end prayers for all of us

Yup 2 months is enough. Mine was approved in mid September i am still waiting, i have not Contacted my MP i will do that as well in January. Do you also have medical results received? I wonder how often they update the online status and what is usually their next step.

Its almost 6 months for me- so I sent a couple of emails to Islamababd and Ottawa. Gonna contact MP next. Can't be complacent anymore- my marraige is genuine I have nothing to fear.
