CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Hey all,

Just checked e-case today and under sponsorship it says "decision made" - clicking on that takes me to another screen and it tells me that a decision has been made and a letter was mailed on 7/10 - is it normal for it to not show the decision (accept/reject) in e-case?

Also, under the PR section, it now says medical results have been received.

I have no idea why it's going so quickly, hopefully it's good news. I also need to send them our communication proofs i.e. text print-outs (there were a lot of pages, so we just sent the the phone records). I guess nobody would know where to send those given that Ottawa is in the mix now?

Yep, that sounds legit. Many people had to wait for months to the get the email u got. Its good.

CIC sends a email/letter stating they have "sent" it to CHC. However, CHC doesn't send a email/letter that they "received" it. Basically, CHC doesn't tell you that they have your file. Until 8-9 months down the road when you get a nice email/letter that your file has been opened for queue.

Chc doesnt send mails to applicants bt ur ecase will be updated once file is transferred n recieved in isb..u dnt have to wait for 8-9 months to knw tht ir file has been transferred..ur ecase will show u everything before tht..just wait n ull see

That's nice... so hang on.. they are not transferring files to ISB at all now? dude.. that might just be GOOD news !

as for email address... the initial email only mentions UCI & File# so if you got that from the agent.. i think ur good...

Who said tht the file won't be transferred to isb???? Huh.....wat a nice joke..tht means if they need to call some applicant for interview or if they want to do some background check on applicants or nythng else they will call ur wifes n hubands to ottowa to see them..wow...hw can u thnk tht ur file won't reach in isb...all visas r issued frm isb nt frm ottowa..rest if u wana dream abt it then keep on dreaming..

This all info is regarding the sponser nt the applicant..so it means tht uve been approved as a sponser thts why the decision has been made tht u maybe approved to sponser the applicant..n ur initial medical is with them thts why it's showing tht medical results have been recieved..nw ur file will be transferred to isb n then the eating game begins,,this is just the first step...the real movie is abt to start wen ur file gets transferred to isb..so this is nothng to be more happy abt..the happiest thng wud be wen ur applicant will receive this news tht decision has been made..tht will be ppr n visa stamping..

Its normal bro...nothing to wry abt...nw the waiting game begins n frm here it's all ur luck n prayers tht in how much tym ur wife gets visa...bt usually they are taking less time as compared to 2010 applicants.. U can see my timeline..it took 21 mnths bt hopefully ull get thru even sooner.. Inshallah all my prayers fr u..is it ur full marriage or only Nikah??

From what I understand, E-cas should update us regarding transfer and reception of our file at ISB. In my case, my file was sent 3 months ago to ISB. However, my ecas isn't showing me anything that would suggest that my file has "successfully" reached ISB.
For example; 1) We received your application ****
2) We sent you a letter on *** ( this are under "decision made")
3)Applicants filed received and medical received *** (under permanent residence sub-heading)
This statements were present ever since I got my UCI. Nothing has changed. I don't know if takes more than 3 months for ecas to update themselves....

It's a Nikkah case ... so you mean 21 months from the day when File transferred to ISB? ;-/

Judging by his timeline, I'd say 21 mo's from his filing date.

Yes, I think most of the people are Rukhsati cases.

I am going in december for Rukhsati ... I dont think it will make any difference now ... I should have done Rukhsati.
